3D Patient Derived Colorectal Cancer Organoid and Drug Screening
The Soragni Lab develops strategies to test drugs in 3D tumor organoid models in a fast, reliable, high-throughput, inexpensive manner. We are conducting drug screening tests using several patient-derived colorectal cancer organoid models to identify which drugs are most effective for the patient.
We are seeking motivated undergraduate students who are interested in working in 3D cell culture and bioprinting. The main responsibilities will include 3D cell and media maintenance, drug treatment, and microscope imaging of plates. We are specifically looking for someone who is consistently available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Approximate hours per week: 10+ hours

Qualifications:
The ideal applicant will have completed coursework in biology, biochemistry and related fields. Experience working in a wet lab and cell culture is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate an interest in translational biomedical research and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Employment Period: 3 months. Desired start date in June 2025.
