Developing Inequality: Organizational Variation and Complexity in Affordable Housing Development (HASS)

Description: Research assistants needed for a project on affordable housing development in Los Angeles County. Tasks include collecting, cleaning, and organizing data on the characteristics of affordable housing developments, collecting and inputting data on the characteristics of organizations that build affordable housing, and assistance with analyzing data using statistical software and/or GIS (optional depending on experience). The research assistants will be expected to work 10 hours per week for 10 weeks, ideally during Fall quarter.

Qualifications: Previous research experience preferred but not required. We are looking for assistants who are detail oriented, have strong organizational skills, and can complete work in a timely manner with minimal supervision. Applicants with demonstrated experience with GIS are highly encouraged.

Compensation: $17.80-$23 per hour, depending on experience.
