Multiple forces – from the advent of new technology to the ongoing pandemic – are driving the development of innovative medical devices, new platforms for care delivery, and novel methods for safer, precise, and connected patient care. How can you create lasting change in this exciting field? What can you do to make a difference in patients’ lives? Christian shares his story, lessons learned, and recommendations for discovering your passion, identifying a career path, and acting now to create change in health and medicine. Speaker: Christian Johnson, MBA, MS Christian Johnson is an entrepreneur, manager, and consultant devoted towards advancing global health and sustainability through strategic innovation and entrepreneurship. Currently, Christian is a UCLA Biodesign fellow in medtech and digital health innovation at UCLA Health. Formerly, Christian served in global strategy and marketing at Edwards Lifesciences and various startups in healthcare. Christian is also co-founder and board member at the nonprofit Seed Consulting Group, a member of Forbes Councils, has delivered a TEDx talk, and advises various nonprofits. Christian earned his BS at UCLA, an MS in Global Medicine at USC, and an MBA at UCI.
