Correlation of Patient Imaging with Pathology Genomics Genomics and Proteomics in Abdominal Cancers

Project description: 

Duties include assisting physicians and scientists with data extraction and entry, imaging segmentation, data quality checks/control and/or management, assisting with writing and/or editing correspondence, reports, documents and/or other materials, assisting in the development of presentations and publications, conducting literature review searches, article searches or reference research. Goals include experience in clinical research for students interested in medical careers.

Qualifications or skill required: 

Interest in research, experience in mathematics, computer science, data science, bioengineering, biochemistry, or biological sciences.

Development and Analysis of a Database for Patients with Myeloproliferative Disorders in the UCLA Health System

Job Description:

Research project building a database for myeloproliferative disorders across UCLA Health System
The student will help write a protocol for collection of clinical data of patients with myeloproliferative disorders. Data from patients with this diagnosis will then be collected and analysis using Redcap.
Data will include demographics, diagnosis, molecular genetics, treatment, progression and survival. It is expected that there is likely 1000 to 1500 of these patients in the UCLA health system.
