The Integrated and Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Research Program (i2URP) is a two-year academic development program that prepares juniors and seniors for graduate studies and careers in biomedical research by improving their comprehension of scientific literature and sharpening their presentation skills. Students work with program faculty during weekly Journal Club and Research Presentation meetings (RES PRC 193, Fridays 4:00-6:30 PM), which explore current biomedical research topics and the cohort’s independent research projects. By participating in the program, students will develop science communication and presentation skills, practice analyzing scientific literature, and expand their understanding of the research process. Students apply as juniors and participate in the program through the end of their senior year. Learn more here.Â
The application is due October 14, 2025.
