Meet the Director
Dr. David Gray is an Associate Director of the Undergraduate Research Center – Sciences, where he leads undergraduate research programs including SPUR, UC LEADS, i2URP, and BISEP. He earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from UCLA, focusing on gene correction for X-linked agammaglobulinemia. At UCLA, Dr. Gray is widely respected for his exceptional mentorship, having guided countless undergraduates into research labs, through conference presentations and publications, and on to successful graduate school applications and careers in science. His commitment to supporting students from all backgrounds makes him a trusted resource for Bruins pursuing research and advanced study.
