Job Description:

The Buonomano Lab at UCLA’s Department of Neurobiology is seeking a motivated undergraduate student to join our team as Lab Manager. Our lab’s research looks at how neural circuits encode time, process temporal information, and generate complex dynamics in the brain. This position involves overseeing day-to-day laboratory operations (placing orders, feeding brain slices, creating solutions) and providing essential support for ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple recurring tasks and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Must be able to commit to the lab throughout the school year and for a portion of summer. Interest in neuroscience (preferred). Open to first years (preferred) and second years. 8-12 hours per week.
