 tending our office hours.\n\nMeet the Director\n\nDr. Monica Gonzalez Rami
 rez is an Assistant Director of the Undergraduate Research Center – Scie
 nces\, where she leads programs such as PEERS (Program for Excellence and 
 Research in the Sciences) and TREP (Transfer Research Entry Program). With
  a PhD in cell biology and molecular biochemistry\, she has published in t
 op journals\, received competitive grants and fellowships\, and presented 
 her research at national and international conferences. At UCLA\, Dr. Gonz
 alez Ramirez is dedicated to mentoring undergraduate students from diverse
  backgrounds\, helping them navigate research opportunities\, build resili
 ence\, and explore a wide range of career paths in science.
